Gorgeous! I would much rather have one of these than any million dollar hypercar.....though being worth a million would make me less likely to want to drive it :(

That’s why I’d buy or build a replica Cobra before spending the dough on a real one. I’d be too afraid of something happening to it.

There is a gullwing that comes to the local cars and coffee but it’s always after I leave and I see a photo in the Facebook group. Really want to see one in person.

I do not blame you! I think if I was ever going the replica route, I’d want one of those Porsche 356 replicas....although I’d want one in Coupe form...is that a thing?
Want I’d really want, though, is a Renault Alpine A110 or Chappe et Gessalin 1200S replica...not sure if there is such a thing for either, but I think both cars are GORGEOUS...

It had the side hatching or whatever you call it, rather than the 190sl solid fender and door panels. But if there’s another merc with that, I could be confused. It’s true, I only saw it for a few seconds.

Our local C&C guy with a white Gullwing is awesome, original paint with cracks, he rallies it and works on everything he owns himself. He has come to C&C with dirt and sand all over it. Nothing makes them worth less other than crumpling them in a huge crash.

They were closer to 250K cars 25 years ago, and $7500 cars 20 years before that - the luckiest generation members who bought these and kept them can afford to use them.

I saw one under a cover in a parking lot earlier this year, and I thought it was a 300 until I remembered there was a 190.
